Vintage Royal Albert Old English Roses Bone China Teacup Trio, England, 1940s

$45.00

I am a sucker for a bone china teacup and have many displayed around my home. They bring me joy and tea just tastes better from a proper teacup, don’t you agree?

This is an absolute beauty from English maker, Royal Albert, part of the Old English Roses series. It’s in excellent condition. No cracks or crazing. Crisp white fine bone china, with dark and pale pink cabbage roses and gold gilded trims. Made in England around the late 1930’s to early 1940s. It’s very pretty! It has a scalloped shape around the body of the cup and the circumference of the plate and saucer and the most perfect handle.

All pieces are in good condition. No cracks or chips or crazing. Gold gilding is good, consistent with normal wear and some minor fading.

Approximate measurements

Cup: width 7 cm; height 8 cm

Saucer: 14 cm

Plate: 15 cm

Will be safely packed in wrapping and boxed, with instructions to take care. Parcels are sent via courier with Sendle.
