Upcyclers United, Funkin Furniture

An Upcyclers United post today sharing the work of Funkin Furniture. Another great team stopping furniture going to landfill and creating masterpieces that are even better than the original.

Having lived on the Gold Coast for many years, this couple last year left their careers behind in resort tourism to do what they love …restoring and upcycling furniture. Living on the coast, a love of all things timber, distressed paint finishes, light bright colours, retro pieces, chairs, sideboards and beach inspired fabrics, all came together as Funkin furniture.

They introduce reclaimed timber to coffee tables and sideboards, distress beach house furniture, restore retro, art deco, antiques and dining chairs. Their furniture is painted and waxed using their own formulated furniture paint in every colour of the spectrum. New pieces are posted every week.
